एक तिनका
मैं घमंडों में भरा ऐंठा हुआ
एक दिन जब था मुँडेरे पर खड़ा
आ अचानक दूर से उड़ता हुआ
एक तिनका आँख में मेरी पड़ा।
मैं झिझक उठा हुआ बैचैन सा
लाल होकर आँख भी दुखने लगी
मूठ देने लोग कपड़े की लगे
ऐंठ बेचारी दबे पाँवों भगी।
जब किसी ढब से निकल तिनका गया
तब ‘समझ’ ने यों मुझे ताने दिये
ऐंठता तू किस लिये इतना रहा
एक तिनका है बहुत तेरे लिये।

Can u please give the meaning of each paragraph of this poem.it will be very useful

This excellent literary peice is about the “Ego”. Although I didn’t like the way of writing, as it is not in a standard kavita/poem format that has a particular rhythm and can be sung, but the “ides” is an excellent one.
The poem basically says that when I was standing with pride/vanity/godliness, full of cramp/arrogance, on parapet, suddenly a speck/blade of grass/whit/straw came from somewhere and fell into my eyes. ……….
now I became restless/nervous, with diffidence/hesitance, eyes became read and painful.
people came and tried to offer a pice of cloth (its like a ball or cloth, so that we can first make is warm with puff or blow and use it to remove the speck from the eyes),
the poor “arrogance” ran away on tiptoes./stealthly/silently,
when somehow that speck came out,
then “intelligence/understanding/sense/intellect/consciousness taunted me, “why were you so much arrogant, even a speck is enough for you (to fracture/demolish your Ego).
So literall this was the meaning of the poem.
And it simply means that even a “small ant can kill a big elephant”, “a small speck can break your ego”.
So why are you fillled with so much Ego????
One should remember that, and keep all kinds of arrogance aside.
In hindi there is a saying that “vidya dadaati vinayam”. that is “knowledge brings/gives humility/modesty.
or we say that “faldaar vruksh jyada jhukte hain” that mean “trees filled with fruits, bend more” ………………
So this poem in essence has an excellent Idea, a teaching and narrates it with an example of a speck falling into the eyes of an arroagant person.
