I wrote this nursery rhyme to complement the poem “मछली जल की रानी है “. further, please read a third poem “मेंढक जल का राजकुमार ” in the same series. Art work is mine – Rajiv Krishna Saxena

कछुआ जल का राजा है

कछुआ जल का राजा है,
कितना मोटा ताजा है।

हाथ लगाओ कूदेगा,
बाहर निकालो ऊबेगा।

सबको डांट लगाएगा,
घर का काम कराएगा।

बच्चों के संग खेलेगा,
पूरी मोटी बेलेगा।

चाट पापड़ी खाएगा,
ऊंचे सुर में गाएगा।
