This poem was written 60-70 years ago by famous poet Kedar Nath Agrawal compares the basic traits of a Punjipati (rich money lenders) and a shramjivi (poor farmers). I guess the situation may not be so bleak now with banks entering the money lending business and relatively better situation of farmers. Yet, the poem truly denotes the ethos of those days.
